Year Three have had a wonderful start to the year. They have quickly settled down and are beginning to understand the new routines and expectations of Key Stage Two. They really are impressing us.

Our topic this term is all about the Egyptians and we have been busy learning about the Geography of Egypt and what the land and Nile are used for..

The children have all been given a new book and are enjoying discussing and/orcompleting a quiz when they have finished their book.

In maths we have been re-capping place value and measurement. The children have had great fun using the scales to measure the mass of objects around the school.

In English we have been reading The Enormous Crocodile by Roald Dahl and basing our written work around the text.

We are pleased the children are really keen to learn and they are demonstrating a positive and enthusiasticattitude towards their lessons.

We look forward to working with you and your children this year.

Kind Regards.
